Job Overview:

We are looking for a skilled Stream Engineer to manage and optimize live streaming events across multiple platforms. The ideal candidate will have expertise in streaming software, encoding techniques, and troubleshooting live broadcast issues in real time.

Key Responsibilities:

• Live Stream Setup & Execution Configure, monitor, and manage live streaming events across platforms such as YouTube Live, Twitch, and Facebook Live.
• Streaming Software & Tools Utilize OBS, vMix, Wirecast, Restream, or Streamlabs to encode and distribute streams effectively.
  
• Encoding & Bitrate Optimization Adjust streaming settings, bitrates, and resolutions for seamless playback on different devices and network conditions.
• Multistreaming & Destination Management Configure and manage multiple streaming destinations, including CDNs, RTMP/SRT servers, and third-party restreaming services.
• Troubleshooting & Support Identify and resolve audio/video sync issues,buffering problems, and network latency concerns in real time.
• Hardware & Network Optimization Set up and maintain streaming hardware, including capture cards, encoders, and network configurations.
• Quality Control & Reporting Monitor stream health, analyze performance metrics, and suggest improvements for an enhanced viewing experience.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Proficiency in streaming protocols RTMP, SRT, HLS, WebRTC, etc.
• Hands-on experience with live streaming software

  OBS, vMix, Wirecast, etc.
• Understanding of encoding standards H.264, HEVC, AV1, and adaptive bitrate streaming.
• Strong troubleshooting skills Audio/video issues, latency, and buffering.
• Experience with multistreaming services Restream, Castr, or Switchboard.
• Basic knowledge of networking Firewalls, bandwidth management, and VPNs.
• Familiarity with NDI, SDI, and IP-based video transmission is a plus.
