Role Description

This is a remote Sales and Business Development Specialist role. The role involves assisting with Sales Strategies, market research, supporting business development initiatives, and engaging with potential customers to foster relationships. The role will also handle various communication tasks and collaborate with team members to contribute to growth objectives.

Base Salary: 2.8 - 3 Lakhs per annum

Qualifications

  • Excellent Communication skills are a MUST, including verbal, written, and interpersonal communication(English, Malayalam, Tamil, Hindi)
  • Experience defining and executing sales strategy, not just managing accounts
  • MBA / Masters in Sales & Marketing, Business, Marketing, Technology, or a related field
  • Ability to build repeatable sales processes and reporting frameworks
  • Experience mentoring or leading junior sales staff
  • Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Comfort working directly with founders and leadership on revenue strategy
  • Proficiency in Sales Pitch and execution with the internal team
  • Proficiency in tools like LeadSquared, Appolo, or Zoho, or similar tools, is an added advantage
  • Strong Sales skills and the ability to cultivate relationships with clients
  • Aptitude to convert the leads into successful conversions.
  • Experience or knowledge in developing and implementing sales strategies
  • Customer Service skills with a focus on responsiveness and client satisfaction
  • Self-motivation and a proactive attitude toward contributing to team success
  • Interest or experience in technology or professional development is an advantage

36 years of proven B2B sales experience in one or more of the following:

  • EdTech / Training & Certifications, SaaS / Software solutions, Consulting or Professional Services
  • Demonstrated ability to own the end-to end sales cycle from prospecting to closure

    Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Experience with inbound, outbound sales, including cold outreach and LinkedIn, Google prospecting
  • Strong discovery, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Experience in using different Value-Based Selling, upselling, Cross selling sales strategies
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a start-up environment
  • Strong time management, discipline, follow-ups, Client relationships, and accountability
  • Willingness to work under clearly defined KPIs and performance reviews/targets

  • High availability and engagement during working hours
  • Minimal leave during the probation period except for emergencies
  • Transparency in reporting activities and pipeline status to the founders regularly
  • Performance-driven mindset; role is results-oriented, not tenure-based
