Job Description

The ideal candidate will be responsible for working cross-functionally to understand architecture needs by multiple business units. You must feel comfortable owning the entire architecture development process from inception to completion. As a candidate for this role, you will lead architecture initiatives from inception to completion, collaborate with business users to create architecture in alignment with business needs, champion the adoption of reusable architecture assets to improve efficiency, produce documentation to aid in the understanding of existing architecture solutions, drive Agile methodologies, ensure timely delivery of data engineering initiatives, provide technical mentorship, and manage a small team of data engineers.

To qualify for this position, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Data Engineering, Data Science, or a related field, along with 7+ years of relevant experience. You should have expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, as well as solutions architecture. Proficiency in Python, SQL, and big data frameworks like Spark and Kafka is essential. Experience in designing and implementing scalable data pipelines, a solid understanding of ML operations (MLOps) and model deployment best practices, familiarity with Agile methodologies, and experience managing small teams are also required. Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, along with mentoring ability, are highly valued in this role.,
