The Arts Club Dubai is perfectly located in the heart of the DIFC, set over four floors and totaling 65,000 square feet, in the brand-new ICD Brookfield Place development designed by Foster + Partners.
It is the first international outpost of the celebrated and historical private members club, established in 1863 in Mayfair, London. We are currently seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Cigar Sommelier to join our team and elevate the cigar experience for our esteemed guests. A Cigar Sommelier is responsible for ensuring a smooth running of service in the Cigar Lounge and focusing on delivering the maximum members and guests satisfaction, while taking care that the Club's highest standards and procedures are adhered to at all times.
What You Will Do

• Manage and maintain the cigar inventory, ensuring correct stock levels, storage conditions, pricing, and vintages at all times.
• Provide expert cigar recommendations and pairings, delivering exceptional service to members and guests.
• 
  Ensure humidors, cigar displays, and service areas are clean, organized, and maintained to Club standards.
• Conduct regular stock takes and ensure accurate recording of all cigar, food, and beverage sales.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of cigars, wines, food offerings, and Club services.
• Collaborate closely with the floor team to deliver seamless guest experiences and support private events.
• Train and share cigar knowledge with colleagues to enhance overall team expertise.
• Uphold health, safety, housekeeping, and service standards while safeguarding Club assets and stock.
• Assist in maintaining member preferences and profiles to provide personalized service.
• Support the smooth operation of the outlet and undertake additional duties as required.
  

What We Are Looking For

  Get Hired
  Minimum 2 years experience in same or similar role in luxury hotels or fine dining restaurant
• Internationally recognised professional certification
• Excellent level of English, written and spoken
• Have strong organisational and time management skills with a high degree of flexibility
• Excellent communication and listening skills
• Demonstrate integrity in all dealings and maintain high level of confidentiality
• Ability to work long shifts and stand for the extended period of time
• Impeccable manners
• Immaculate personal presentation and well-spoken
