Student Support Assistant

About the Role

The Student Support Assistant role consists of supporting pupils with EAL needs across the school.
As a Student Support Assistant within the EAL team, you will provide targeted support both in and out of the classroom, adapting resources, assisting with differentiated instruction, and fostering a welcoming, inclusive environment where all learners can thrive. In conjunction with the Head of Inclusion, and EAL Coordinator, you will assist in the development and delivery of a suitable programme of support both within the classroom and on a one-to-one basis.
Successful candidates will be fluent English language speakers. Fluency in an additional language would be an advantage. Experience of working in a school environment would be desirable, as would degree-level education.
