Vice President - IB Confirmations - BFS

A senior, high-visibility opportunity within the Operations function of a leading global financial services group, seeking an experienced IB Confirmations leader to oversee and transform confirmation operations across global markets. The role combines operational leadership, governance, risk management, stakeholder engagement and technology-led transformation.
Some of the key responsibilities will include:
- Leading governance and risk-based prioritization across IB Confirmation activities including Drafting, Affirmation, Chasing and Execution.
- Driving data-led performance management, quality and First Time Right outcomes.
- Leading confirmation drafting automation and identifying opportunities to migrate manual processes to automated solutions.
- Partnering with Legal, Front Office, Middle Office and Sales on confirmation templates and negotiations.

- Ensuring compliance with ISDA, EMIR and CFTC requirements and effective risk mitigation.
- Managing capacity planning, continuous improvement and firm-wide transformation initiatives.
- Driving operational risk, controls and process efficiency across the function.
To be eligible for this role you will require:
- 15+ years of relevant experience, with strong IB Confirmation - Confirmation Drafting experience.
- In-depth understanding of the IB trade lifecycle and strong control mindset.
- Demonstrated executive presence and experience managing senior stakeholders and cross-functional initiatives.
- Strong understanding of IB confirmations, ISDA documentation and regulatory requirements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into business insights.
- Experience driving automation, transformation and process improvement initiatives.
- Exposure to Alteryx, Power BI, Robotics, Machine Learning or AI-based automation would be advantageous.
- Strong communication skills and ability to operate effectively in a high-pressure environment.
- Graduate - MBA qualification.
