Data Scientist

We are looking for a Data Scientist to help us discover the information hidden in vast amounts of data, and help us make smarter decisions to deliver even better products. The role is an Individual contributor for applying data mining techniques, doing statistical analysis, and building high quality prediction systems integrated with our properties. Role will directly collaborate with the CXOs to work on critical projects which will drive profitability.
Responsibilities
Analyze large datasets to extract valuable insights, patterns, and trends, and present findings to support strategic decision-making.Design, develop, and implement machine learning and statistical models to solve complex business problems, such as recommendation systems, predictive analytics, and customer segmentation.Gather, clean, and preprocess data to ensure its quality and reliability for modeling and analysis.Create visualizations and dashboards to effectively communicate data-driven insights to non-technical stakeholders.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, business analysts, and domain experts, to understand business needs and translate them into data science solutions.Assess the performance of models, refine them, and iterate as needed to improve accuracy and reliability.Extending company’s data with third party sources of information when needed
Candidate Requirements
1-3 years of hands-on experience in data science, machine learning, and statistical analysis.Proficiency in Python programming language and experience with data manipulation libraries (e.g., pandas, NumPy).Strong knowledge of machine learning algorithms and libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch)Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Matplotlib, SeaSolid understanding of SQL and database managementStrong problem-solving skills and analytical skills.Reporting background will be a plus (about 10% of job role)Experience in NLP is a plusExperience in Computer Vision (Tensorflow/Fastai/OpenCV etc.) is a plusleverage LLMs to to build models.Knowledge of advanced statistical techniques and concepts (regression, properties of distributions, statistical tests, and proper usage, etc.) and experience with applicationsExcellent written and verbal communication skills for coordinating across teamsEcommerce experience preferred
