Senior Data Scientist Hyderabad (Hybrid Mode)

Were currently seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join our growing analytics team in Hyderabad. This role offers the opportunity to work on impactful projects across various domains, including sales, marketing, logistics, and operations, while driving data-driven decision-making at scale.

The mission of Global Analytics is to lead HEINEKEN into becoming a data-driven company and the best-connected brewer. As a team, we radiate a data-driven entrepreneurial culture to the rest of the company. We act as an incubator for smart data products in all business areas, from sales to logistics and marketing to purchasing. This approach has allowed us to grow rapidly and launch many value-creating use cases from the management of spare parts to the allocation of media spending.

Key Responsibilities:

Understand complex business problems and design smart, data-driven solutions.

Develop, test, and deploy machine learning models and algorithms to drive innovation.

Conduct advanced statistical and predictive analyses, including time series forecasting and decision trees.

Collaborate with data engineers and business stakeholders to implement scalable ML solutions.

Translate ambiguous business challenges into clear analytical requirements.

Required Skills & Experience:

8+ years of professional experience in data science, machine learning, or a related analytical field.

Strong proficiency in Python, including OOP (Object-Oriented Programming) concepts.

Hands-on experience with traditional ML algorithms such as decision trees, random forest, linear and logistic regression, and time series forecasting.

Solid understanding of model evaluation, validation, and deployment in production environments.

Experience working with Azure Machine Learning or other cloud-based ML platforms is a plus.

Good understanding of software engineering practices (unit testing, version control, CI/CD).

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team.
