To drive revenue through proactive sales efforts by developing and maintaining strong relationships with key corporate, MICE, and travel trade accounts within the assigned region, ensuring The Leela Hotels are the preferred choice for luxury accommodation and events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and manage high-value accounts across corporate, MICE, and consortia segments.
  • Develop long-term account strategies and annual business plans for key clients.
  • Lead negotiations for large-volume contracts and strategic partnerships.
  • Collaborate with revenue, marketing, and property teams to ensure account alignment.
  • Guide and mentor junior sales team members within the RSO.
  • Track and analyze performance metrics, account growth, and conversion ratios.
  • Identify new market trends and lead the charge on innovative sales initiatives.
  • Represent The Leela Hotels at global sales events, RFPs, and consortia presentations.
  • Manage a portfolio of corporate and travel trade accounts, ensuring revenue goals are met or exceeded.

  • Identify new business opportunities and convert leads into confirmed bookings.
  • Conduct regular client meetings, sales calls, and site inspections across The Leela Hotels network.
  • Maintain updated account plans and sales reports in CRM (Salesforce or Opera).
  • Collaborate with property-based sales teams to ensure seamless execution and client satisfaction.
  • Represent The Leela Hotels at trade shows, roadshows, and industry events.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify areas for growth.
  • Meet monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

Key Requirements:

  • 5 to 8 years of progressive sales experience in luxury hospitality.
  • Proven success in managing complex accounts and high-value business.
  • Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and interpersonal skills.
  • Expertise in handling national and international corporate clients.
  • Technologically savvy with proficiency in CRM tools and analytics platforms.
