Position Overview
Reporting to: General Manager Sales - North India Sales & Marketing
Location: Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh
The Sales Manager Corporate, MICE, Weddings & Events is responsible for generating business across corporate, social, and event segments through effective account acquisition, relationship management, and revenue optimization. The incumbent will play a key role in developing corporate partnerships, driving MICE and wedding sales, and ensuring exceptional client satisfaction consistent with The Leelas legacy of luxury and excellence.
Responsibilities:
1. Corporate Account Acquisition & Business Development
- Identify, target, and acquire new corporate accounts within key industries (FMCG, BFSI, Pharma, IT, Manufacturing, Luxury Retail, and Consulting).
- Conduct market mapping and segmentation to identify high-value potential accounts for room nights, banquets, and long-stay business.
- Develop strategic partnerships with corporate travel managers, procurement heads, and CXO-level stakeholders.
- Present The Leela portfolio as a preferred hospitality partner through presentations, personalized meetings, and experience-led engagements.
- Negotiate and finalize corporate rate agreements ensuring profitability and brand positioning.
- Track and report on corporate production monthly, ensuring year-on-year growth from each key account.
2. Account Management & Client Retention
- Maintain and grow existing corporate accounts through regular engagement, quarterly business reviews, and cross-selling opportunities across the Leela portfolio.
- Serve as the primary relationship owner for key accounts, ensuring proactive support, seamless communication, and issue resolution.
- Coordinate with reservations, revenue, and operations teams to ensure consistent service delivery and fulfillment of contracted terms.
- Design and execute corporate appreciation and engagement programs to strengthen long-term partnerships.
3. MICE, Weddings & Social Events
- Drive MICE, group, and wedding business by building relationships with event planners, wedding curators, and DMCs.
- Develop and propose customized event and banquet packages aligned with brand standards and guest expectations.
- Conduct property site visits, client presentations, and event briefings for conversions.
- Work closely with Banquet Sales and F&B teams to ensure flawless event execution and client satisfaction.

4. Sales Planning, Strategy & Reporting
- Contribute to the annual sales plan, ensuring a balanced mix of corporate, MICE, and social segments.
- Track market trends, competitor performance, and rate dynamics to ensure competitive positioning.
- Maintain updated sales pipelines, account intelligence, and production reports through the CRM.
- Prepare monthly performance reports and forecasts for management review.
5. Brand Representation & Networking
- Represent The Leela at corporate events, trade fairs, and industry exhibitions to promote the brand and network with potential clients.
- Partner with the marketing team to align brand storytelling and sales communication across digital and offline platforms.
- Participate in client familiarization trips (FAMs) and property showcases to highlight The Leelas offerings.
Candidate Profile
- Graduate / Postgraduate in Hospitality, Business Administration, or Marketing.
- 58 years of experience in sales within the luxury hotel or premium hospitality segment Demonstrated success in corporate account acquisition, contracting, and revenue management.
- Excellent understanding of corporate contracting cycles, RFP processes, and travel policies.
- Proficient in MS Office, Opera PMS, and CRM tools (Delphi, Salesforce, etc.)
