Job Title

Assistant Manager – Taxation

Department / Division

Finance & Accounts

Minimum Qualification

(i.e education, training etc.)

  • B.Com/ M.Com from a reputed institution/ ICWA

Minimum Experience

  • Around 3-5 years of industry experience in the finance function, with specific exposure to indirect taxation

Special Skills/Attributes

(required for performing the job effectively)

  • Hands on basic technical knowledge of Service Tax; VAT; LBT ; Entry Tax etc
  • Working knowledge of taxes applicable to Work Orders
  • Good inter-personal & Inter-departmental skills.

Key Responsibilities

(List major responsibilities, that you have, to achieve the key objectives)

  • Assisting in preparing various details with respect to Service Tax Notices, VAT notices, profession tax notices, service tax audit
  • Co-ordinating with consultants with regard to various compliances related to service tax, mvat and pt
  • Periodically assisting in filing Service Tax Returns, profession tax returns, VAT returns, WCT returns.
  • Preparing Monthly Purchase Register for various SPVs registered under MVAT for filing Annexure J1 & J2
  • Assisting in Finalizing the MVAT Audits for FY 2013-14
  • Attending department for submissions and hearing as and when required for Service Tax, Mvat and Profession Tax at Officer / Inspector Level
  • Data collation, co-ordination, preparation & uploading of various returns under various statutes as per the due dates.
  • Preparing Monthly Notice Trackers and sending across all SPVs
  • Resolving Queries of all SPVs related to Service Tax, Mvat, WCT and Profession Tax.
