General Manager Finance

We are hiring for General Manager / Senior General Manager - Finance & Accounts Role with a Solar Pump Manufacturing Industry!!

Role: General Manager / Senior General Manager - Finance & Accounts

Location: Karnal

Experience: 12+ years in Finance & Accounts with 5+ years in leadership roles.

Work Mode: Work from Office

Working Days: 6 Days Working

Preferred Industry: Solar Pump Manufacturing / Manufacturing

Preferred Qualifications: CA Qualified

1. Financial Governance & Strategy

• Lead preparation of quarterly and annual financial results in compliance with regulatory requirements and Companies Act.
• Support the CFO with financial modelling and strategic planning for expansion in renewable and manufacturing segments.
• Drive Cost-to-Manufacture analysis across pump product categories to improve margins and operational efficiency.

2. Manufacturing & Operational Finance

• Monitor Raw Material (RM) and Finished Goods (FG) inventory to optimize working capital and supply chain efficiency.
• Manage the financial lifecycle of solar project-related activities, including subsidy tracking, bank guarantees, and fund flow management.
• Oversee plant-level accounting, overhead allocation, and scrap management across manufacturing units.

3. Systems & Process Excellence

• Lead ERP implementation and financial module integration with production and sales functions.
• Develop and enforce SOPs for Capex, Procurement-to-Pay (P2P), and Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes.

  Strengthen internal control frameworks (ICFR) and coordinate internal and external audits.

4. Working Capital & Treasury

• Monitor Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) and manage receivables across dealer and project-based sales channels.
• Handle banking relationships, credit facilities, LC/BG limits, and treasury management.
• Ensure GST compliance and taxation management related to manufacturing and solar project operations.

Candidate Requirements:

• Prior experience in Solar / Renewable Energy or Manufacturing industry, preferably Solar Pump Manufacturing.
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as SAP / Oracle.
• Strong knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS), financial controls, and compliance.
• Proven experience in team leadership and cross-functional coordination.
• in Strong analytical, negotiation, and process-driven leadership skills.
