Job Description
- Role Overview:
Our company is seeking a JIRA administrator to join our growing team. As a JIRA administrator, you will be responsible for coordinating with the primary JIRA Administrator to plan, schedule, implement, and communicate JIRA & plug-in upgrades. Additionally, you will work on enabling custom workflows, screens, fields, and dashboards in JIRA, as well as training end users on JIRA features during project deployments and ongoing support. Your role will involve collaborating with stakeholders and clients to design and deliver JIRA workflows to meet business requirements and migrating current JIRA configurations to new instances. You will also be involved in coding, testing, debugging new software/applications, creating, copying, and administering JIRA projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with primary JIRA Administrator for JIRA & plug-in upgrades
- Monitor JIRA databases and copy data from PROD to TEST instance
- Enable custom workflows, screens, fields, and dashboards in JIRA
- Architect and administer JIRA deployment for department-wide projects and issues
- Design and deliver JIRA workflows to meet business requirements
- Analyze current JIRA configurations and migrate to new instances
- Provide/configure JIRA for manual processes
- Code, test, and debug new software/applications using JIRA
- Create, copy, and administer JIRA projects

- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, CS, MIS, or related field
- Proficiency in Linux, DB administration, and JVM tuning
- Ability to create complex JIRA workflows, screen schemes, permission schemes, and notification schemes
- Experience in supporting, compiling, and troubleshooting Atlassian tools
- Skill in customizing JIRA workflow with stakeholders
- Experience in planning, evaluating, deploying, operating, and maintaining tools for expanding user-base,
