Job Title- Head Commercial (Profit and Loss)
Qualification MBA (Sales / Marketing / Operations)
Total Experience 15 plus years of experience in handling the commercial function with 5 7 years in a similar industry will be an added advantage.
Brief Summary As Head - Commercial Profit and Loss (P&L) the incumbent would be responsible for overseeing the financial performance and profitability of the commercial segment of the organization. This role involves strategic planning, financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and the development of initiatives to drive commercial success. The individual will work closely with senior management both in India and the UK to ensure that commercial strategies align with financial objectives and contribute to the overall growth and profitability of the company.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute strategic plans aimed at enhancing commercial performance and achieving long-term objectives.
Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, market trends, and competitive landscape to drive growth and profitability.
Work closely with sales, marketing, operations, and other departments to ensure alignment between commercial strategies and financial goals.
Provide financial insights and support to commercial teams to optimize decision-making and resource allocation
Lead and mentor a team of financial professionals, providing guidance and support to enhance their performance and development.
Foster a collaborative and results-driven culture within the team.
Financial Perspective
Oversee the commercial P&L to ensure financial targets are met and profitability is maximized.
Develop and implement financial strategies to support commercial goals and objectives.

Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and making recommendations for action.
Lead the budgeting and forecasting process for the commercial segment, ensuring accuracy and alignment with overall business goals.
Analyze budget variances and implement corrective actions as needed to address any financial issues. Customer Perspective
Assist in developing a credible brand image through efficient customer servicing post sales
Support debt recovery
Provide clarification on all commercial related queries
Implement customer relationship building processes at the operational level
