Job Description
- As an IT Analyst at the World Bank Group, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the organization's mission of ending extreme poverty and promoting sustainable development. In the Information and Technology Solutions (ITS) Vice Presidency, you will play a crucial role in delivering transformative information and technologies to support the World Bank Group's objectives. The ITS strategy focuses on business enablement, empowerment & effectiveness, and resilience, with the goal of providing innovative digital tools and technologies to enhance value delivery, ensuring staff connectivity and productivity, and establishing robust cybersecurity measures.
Key responsibilities will include acting as a Scrum Master, working in Agile teams to implement IT solutions, ensuring adherence to Agile practices, facilitating collaboration within the team, resolving conflicts, liaising with onsite and offshore teams, facilitating sprint planning, and providing operational support for production systems. Additionally, you will be involved in user training, requirements analysis, documentation, test plan development, and post-implementation reviews.
To qualify for this role, you should have a Master's degree with 2 years of relevant experience or a Bachelor's Degree with at least 4 years of relevant experience, preferably with Multilateral Development Banks (MDBs). You should be experienced in working with geographically distributed teams, agile methodologies, and industry-standard processes for systems design and development. Strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills are essential, along with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
