Lead Content Specialist

Responsibilities:

• Expert resource in duties related to creating and/or acquisition of information such as analyzing, copyreading, editing and writing.


• Expert resource in the duties related to the preparation of and final delivery of complex information such as converting, coding, merging, rendering, keying, loading and validation of information.


• Expert resource and escalation point on various systems, software, databases, and applications to deliver quality products.


• Serves as a subject matter expert across product lines.


• Drives team publishing currentness goals .


• Responsible for one or more product lines or processes and oversees the work of others in this area.


• Drives decision-making and prioritization for multiple and highly complex production schedules and processes, and leads collaboration with other organizations on all aspects of project production


• Verifies the work of others for accuracy and completeness.


• Oversees the integrity and completeness of work product and product databases for editorial and primary source materials.


• Ensures completeness, proper structure, and functionality for multiple products.


• Reviews and delivers final product through electronic files for all media.


• Conducts process/system audits and quality checks.


• Anticipates, identifies, and resolves complex problems, including troubleshooting system and data problems
  


• Oversees and troubleshoots the conversion of new or existing information for established and new workflows or product development enhancements.


• Provides escalated support in workflow processes for team.


• Offers escalated support to other business partners across company and to 3rd party vendors.


• Responsible for the development of training materials and training sessions.


• Assesses training needs, coordinate, and conduct training for team members.


• Prepares and reviews complex, higher-level documentation for team and/or 3rd party vendors.


• Leads complex tasks or projects or testing and implementation of new systems and processes.


• Leads medium complexity projects. Implements process improvements, drives cost savings and process efficiencies.


• Researches complex content issues and responds with clear and accurate answers as required.


• May act as a backup for supervisory functions upon request.
