Fund Accountant Private Credit

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Fund Accountant with strong expertise in GP and Private Credit fund accounting to manage financial reporting, NAV calculations, and end-to-end fund operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain complete books and records for GP accounting and private credit funds
• Account for management fees, carried interest, incentive allocations, and distributions
• 
  Perform NAV calculations, including accruals, valuations, and income recognition
• Record and reconcile loan investments, including interest income, amortization, and PIK income
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
• Manage capital calls, distributions, and investor allocations
• Reconcile bank accounts, investment sub-ledgers, and capital accounts
• Prepare investor statements and management reports
• Support audits, regulatory reporting, and ad-hoc management requests

Required Qualifications & Skills

Get Hired
• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in GP and Private Credit Fund Accounting
• Strong understanding of private credit and alternative investment structures
• Hands-on experience with fund accounting systems
• Advanced Excel skills with strong analytical capabilities
• High attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
