Financial Analyst

Those aspirations can include maximizing client revenue opportunities, modeling portfolio profit scenarios, managing costs and expenses or influencing our multi-year business strategy. You can create process improvements to maximize efficiency and accuracy, provide critical analysis to solve mission-critical problems and challenge yourself every day.
Job responsibilities

• You will work with finance leadership and business stakeholders to help shape long-term financial outcomes, providing insightful recommendations that drive business decisions including commercial contract parameters and multi-year planning.
• You will seek to improve processes, tools and systems usage, including key performance indicators, receivables and payments, financial analysis and data visualization enhancements.
• You are open to mentoring and growing team members skills and driving team engagement to deliver on results.
• You will be accountable for month-end variance analysis.
• You will be part of the team routine helping to detect, analyze and solve problems which might inhibit their effectiveness, promote team morale, and insure effective internal and external cooperation.
  

Job Qualifications
Technical Skills

• Bachelors degree in finance or accounting.
• You have experience as a Financial Analyst (professional services/consulting firm experience a plus but not required).
• You have a strong financial acumen including working knowledge of revenue recognition principles and related balance sheet accounting and an understanding of controls and compliance.
• You have experience with major ERP systems such as Oracle PeopleSoft, SAP, etc.
• You have demonstrated experience with Microsoft Excel and/or other data handling tools including Google Suite.
• You have demonstrated experience analyzing and interpreting financial data, identifying drivers and trends, and building value-adding financial models.
• You are open and willing to design, implement and maintain solutions to persistent problems or inefficiencies.

• You have a demonstrated ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks to meet deadlines, paying close attention to detail.
• You have experience and are adept at effectively communicating conclusions and recommending action steps.
• You have a demonstrated ability to be effective without a mandate, relying on relationship-building, credibility and influence skills in an individual capacity and in a team setting.
• You have strong analytical and problem solving skills.
