Pricing Specialist

The Commercial Excellence & Pricing Center of Excellence (COE) is a global function at Thoughtworks, focused on transforming how we shape and communicate the value we bring to our clients. As a Pricing Specialist, youll play a key role in supporting global deal teams with pricing analysis and proposal development. Youll help Thoughtworks move from effort- based pricing toward value-based, outcome-based, and consumption-based models that better reflect the impact we create for our clients. This is an exciting opportunity to join an international team thats building new pricing capabilities from the ground up combining analytical rigor, commercial thinking, and creativity to shape the next generation of Thoughtworks commercial models.
Job responsibilities

• Deal Support and Pricing Execution Support deal teams globally in pricing standard and mid-sized opportunities, ensuring accuracy, profitability, and alignment with Thoughtworks pricing principles. Build and maintain financial models, rate structures, and price simulations that support commercial decision-making. Assist in developing client proposals, including scenario modelling and margin analysis. Help ensure pricing governance, approval discipline, and compliance with internal processes.
• Enable the Transition to Value-Based Pricing Work closely with the Pricing Lead and regional stakeholders to apply value- based, outcome-based, or consumption-based thinking to proposals. Contribute to quantifying the value we deliver to clients connecting commercial terms to client outcomes rather than effort or hours. Capture insights and learnings from deals to continuously improve the COEs pricing frameworks and reference materials.
• Process, Tools, and Continuous Improvement Support the development and refinement of pricing models, templates, and documentation. Contribute ideas to improve turnaround times, efficiency, and data accuracy. Help build a knowledge base of commercial best practices, lessons learned, and reference pricing guidance.
• Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement Work closely with regional commercial, finance, and delivery teams across time zones. Communicate clearly and professionally with business stakeholders on pricing assumptions and outcomes. Participate in reviews and retrospectives to drive continuous learning and improvement.
  

Job Qualifications
Technical Skills

• 48 years of experience in pricing, commercial finance, bid support, or financialanalysis preferably in a consulting, IT services, or professional servicesenvironment.

• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills; advanced Excel skills areessential.
• Understanding of time & materials, fixed price, and value/outcome-based pricing concepts.
• Exposure to commercial proposal development, pricing governance, or bidsupport functions.
• Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and structured problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Bachelors degree in Finance, Business, or a related field (MBA or equivalentdesirable).
• Comfortable working across geographies and time zones in a fast-paced,dynamic environment.
