Job Description

    As the Business Head for Industrial Distribution in Bengaluru/Chennai, you will be responsible for driving sales growth in Tamil Nadu & Karnataka. Your role includes adhering to sales processes and compliance policies, developing new revenue opportunities, and nurturing data-driven supplier relationships, especially with key strategic suppliers like Siemens. Working closely with sales teams, you will strategize and tailor messaging to drive new business and expand existing accounts. Success in this role hinges on your motivation, tenacity, and results-driven approach.
    Your responsibilities will involve understanding and articulating our value proposition to meet customer needs, qualifying prospects through active listening, exploring new business opportunities, and expanding account portfolios through effective B2B prospecting strategies. Achieving quotas, evangelizing solutions, and fostering high-level product conversations with senior executives are also key aspects of your role. Additionally, you will be expected to capture customer interactions accurately in the CRM, stay updated on industry trends, and collaborate with the team to enhance overall efficiency.
    To excel in this role, you should have a minimum of 17 years of experience in business development or sales development, with expertise in channel partnerships and system integration. Extensive travel across South India is a requirement. While previous P&L responsibility is preferred, a strong understanding of business P&L, commercial terms, and Incoterms is essential. CRM experience in a SaaS software or technology environment is beneficial. Domain knowledge of the Industrial Automation Industry, including industry players, competition, and product offerings, is crucial. Proficiency in Siemens product portfolio, customer-facing skills, motivation, adaptability to a fast-paced environment, and teamwork are valuable attributes for this role.

    Education-wise, a degree in Electrical/Electronics/Telecommunication/Instrumentation Engineering is mandatory, while a Master's or Post Graduate diploma in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.,
