About this role

This is a hands-on and dynamic role. This role will be based in Mumbai/Pune and will report to the Country manager and work closely with our head office team in Singapore. The key responsibilities include the following:

• Handle the full spectrum of finance and accounting which includes


• Moanage timely month end closing with the outsourced vendor.
  


• Timely preparation and submission of financial reporting package including variance analysis which highlight key business drivers and issues accurately


• Preparation of operational budgeting and forecasting


• Control and manage the operating cash flow, budgets with an objective to optimize costs, overheads, maximize available cash and working capital optimization.


• Timely & accurate review and processing of vendor invoices, staff claims and other payments according to payment policy


• Share regular updates with internal stakeholders


• Liaise with external auditors, bankers, tax and other statutory authorities, accounting and payroll service providers and other government agencies


• Support the completion of year end audited accounts and filing of audited financial statements and tax returns on a timely basis.


• Work closely with the tax consultants and head office team on transfer pricing matters


• Lead / support other finance/commercial/accounting related projects as required by the business from time to time


• Support in improving/set up of appropriate and efficient reporting and analytical frameworks

  Professional accounting qualification - Chartered Accountant


• 2-5 years of post qualification finance experience in commercial set-up


• Analytical and project management skills


• Strong MS office skills


• Comfortable dealing with both internal and external stakeholders


• Attention to details and meticulous


• Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment


• The ability to anticipate, identify, and resolve complex financial issues


• Good communication skills as this role will require you to work closely with cross functional teams and business leaders
