Senior Accountant Real Estate-Arabic Speaker

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant with a minimum of 5 years of experience, preferably within the Real Estate industry, to manage daily accounting operations, ensure financial accuracy, and support management with timely financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage full accounting cycle, including A/P, A/R, GL, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with UAE accounting standards.
• Handle property-related accounting: sales, leasing revenue, commissions, service charges, escrow accounts.
  
• Monitor project cost control, budget variances, and cost allocation.
• Maintain fixed asset register and manage amortization/depreciation.
• Supervise invoicing, collections, and cash flow forecasting.
• Coordinate with auditors, banks, and external stakeholders.
• Ensure VAT compliance, filing, and reporting.
• Support management with financial analysis and reports for decision-making.
• Implement and enforce internal controls and accounting best practices.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, including real estate industry exposure.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, UAE VAT regulations, and real estate accounting procedures.
• Proficiency in accounting ERPs (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, or Yardi).
• Excellent skills in MS Excel and financial analysis.
• Strong communication, accuracy, and deadline commitment.
• Ability to work independently and supervise junior accountants when needed.

Preferred:

• Professional certifications (CPA, CMA, ACCA) are a plus.
• Previous experience as a developer or in real estate brokerage.
