Educational Qualification: M.Com (Master of Commerce)

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Manager in Finance & Accounting to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management, accounting practices, and team leadership, with 10-12 years of relevant experience and a Masters degree in Commerce.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting & Analysis:
• Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost reduction and profit improvement.
• Budgeting & Forecasting:
• 
  Assist in the development of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
• Monitor actual performance against budgets and provide variance analyses.
• Accounts Payable & Receivable Management:
• Oversee the processing of accounts payable and receivable transactions.
• Ensure timely payments to vendors and accurate invoicing to clients.
• Taxation & Compliance:
• Ensure compliance with all tax regulations, including GST and VAT.
• Prepare and file tax returns in a timely manner.
• Internal Controls & Audit:
• Maintain and enhance internal control systems to safeguard company assets.
• Coordinate with external auditors during financial and tax audits.
• Team Leadership:
• Supervise and mentor a team of accounting professionals.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing training and development.

• Utilize SAP or similar ERP systems for financial processing and reporting.
• Ensure data integrity and system efficiency.

Qualifications and Skills:

• M.Com (Master of Commerce) degree is mandatory.
• 10-12 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting roles.
• Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems, preferably SAP.
• Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Demonstrated leadership and team management experience.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proficiency in MS Excel and SAP/ERP.
• Experience in the manufacturing sector is preferred.
