About the Role:

• We are looking for an experienced QA Manual Tester with Real time automation experience on Appium using Java to test mobile applications (Android & iOS) and web applications.
  

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Maintain and extend automation test scripts using Appium + Java
• Design, write, and execute detailed test cases
• Conduct manual testing across Android, iOS, and web platforms
• Perform functional, regression, risk-based, and exploratory testing
• Identify, log, and track defects & bugs, working closely with developers and Product team for resolution
• Participate in the end-to-end SDLC and STLC processes for new products
• 
  Review and maintain test artifacts (test cases, test data, test reports)
• Perform API testing using Postman, Charles Proxy
• Collaborate in CI/CD environments with Git and Jenkins
• Ensure proper test case prioritization for efficient execution
• Support event monitoring validation using Amplitude
• Work with test management tools such as Jira for planning and defect tracking
  

Skill and Qualifications:

• Graduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 34 years of proven experience in manual testing for mobile (Android & iOS) and web applications
• Strong attention to detail and structured testing approach
• Hands-on experience with:
  

Appium + Java (advantage for automation)
API testing: Postman, Charles Proxy

Event monitoring: Amplitude
Test management: Jira

• Familiarity with test design techniques and different testing types (risk-based, ad hoc, exploratory)
• Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines with Git and Jenkins
• Strong skills in test case prioritization and execution planning
• Experience with cross-browser and cross-device testing
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
