Job Title :Deputy Manager Compliance with an Indian independent and professional investment information and credit rating agency. :
➢ Drafting and vetting of various agreements, RFQs, LOAs, Government and Banks
agreements
➢ Exposure in reviewing third party contracts, NDAs and agreements from legal and
statutory perspective ...
➢ Client negotiations on contractual clauses
➢ Supporting business towards onboarding clients, consultants etc.
➢ Exposure in drafting and implementing organizational policies and procedures from
Corporate Governance standpoint
➢ Coordinating trainings on various applicable Policies and Procedures
➢ Vendor contracting on end-to-end basis
➢ Ensuring the Company is safeguarded from external litigation and contractual risks.
➢ Understanding and advising stakeholders on day-to-day legal matters,
recommendations, and report on legal risks.
➢ Knowledge of applicable Labour Laws including the new Labour Codes
➢ Thorough knowledge of the Companies Act, 2013
➢ Able to draft agenda, minutes and carry out compliances under the Ministry of Corporate
Affairs
➢ Building trackers and reports to ensure timely compliance of tasks
➢ Adherence to compliance tool
➢ Must be proficient working in an automated environment.
➢ Apply effective risk management techniques and offer proactive advice on possible legal
issues
➢ To evaluate compliance risk through analysis, risk identification, monitoring and
consulting on various projects and initiatives at a management level.
➢ Liaising with and managing external counsel.
➢ Maintain current knowledge of alterations in legislation
➢ To support Group General Counsel in handling legal responsibility for the company's
legal issues / projects.
➢ Meticulous in record keeping and data management
➢ Proficient in MSQualifications:
➢ CS preferably with LLB
➢ Minimum experience of 6 to 8 years in the field of legal, corporate secretarial and
governance.
➢ Must have a background of dealing into organisation policies
➢ Excellent verbal & written communication skills
➢ Working experience in a multinational banking or financial services company in a mix of
compliance and legal role and a background of working in a law firm of national repute
➢ Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
➢ The role requires a self-starter willing to operate with minimal supervision with strong
inter-personal skills with the ability to identify issues and develop creative solutions to
problems. Should possess effective communications skills, including ability to resolve
conflict and report / handle escalated issues and senior management.➢ Expert in presenting dashboards, MIS, trackers to the management.Key Relationship – Internal/ External
