Job Title: Financial Advisory International - CFA - DM - Deal Origination

• Assisting onshore team with the day to day management of transactions which includes preparation of pitch material, information memoranda, management presentations, valuation analysis, etc.


• Identifying sector opportunities with support from onshore team


• Write and prepare transaction related documentation and marketing materials including teasers, pitch documents, profiles on financial sector players, and market data and analyses


• Strong industry research supporting specific client engagements and marketing opportunities


• Taking complete responsibility to prepare internal FS sector dashboards/newsletter and client communications


• Deliver and manage projects on various financial services initiatives and products including company profiles, industry dashboards, news runs, discussion documents, etc.


• Build financial models, including relative valuation and other valuation assessments including Discounted Cash Flow (DCF) and Leverage Buyout (LBO) analysis


• Takes complete ownership of project by delivering quality output on a timely basis; ensures all end deliverables are thoroughly reviewed and are of highest quality


• Serve as critical member in the execution of research and advisory projects

• Financial Services (FS) exposure or experience gained either as an advisor or auditor within a professional services firm, consultancy or investment bank


• Superior understanding of financial markets, banking, insurance, loan agreements and other relevant financial knowledge such as industry benchmarks (KPI’s), industry performance metrics, etc.


• Capability to contribute towards development and implementation of often innovative and bespoke M&A strategies for each advisory pitch or transaction


• Excellent numeracy skills with keen attention to detail and the ability to absorb and interpret large amounts of data quickly


• Experience / exposure with working knowledge on valuation methodologies (Comparable analysis, DCF, WACC, Debt analysis, sensitivity analysis)


• Strong academic qualification (Qualified Chartered Accountant, Certified Financial Analyst, Certified Public Accountant, Masters in Finance) from an accredited college/university preferred


• Proficiency with financial research tools; experience of using databases such as Bloomberg, Capital IQ, Factiva, Thomson One, etc.


• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint)


• Client and team focus, with ability to work quickly and establish effective working relationships
