Job Description

:
Responsibilities
  • Lead the strategic development and implementation of iXBRL capabilities within our new product, ensuring alignment with the companys business strategy and goals.
  • Act as the primary contact for all iXBRL-related matters, coordinating with various internal and external stakeholders.
  • Work closely with Chennai and US-based product development and engineering teams to ensure the successful delivery of product enhancements and new features.
  • Conduct comprehensive market and customer research to understand the evolving needs and requirements related to iXBRL, and translate these insights into product strategy and vision.
  • Assist the Product Manager on the execution of the product roadmap, setting the direction and priorities for the development team, and ensuring all stakeholders are aligned and understanding of what is being built and why.

  • Regularly review and prioritize the product backlog to ensure that the team is working on the most impactful projects and tasks.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Product Owner or a similar role in product management, preferably in a technology or software development company.
  • Solid understanding of iXBRL and associated reporting standards, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into understandable terms.
  • Demonstrable experience working with software development teams, with a deep understanding of Agile development methodologies.

  • Strong project management skills, with a track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and on budget.
  • Exceptional decision-making skills, with the ability to make clear, concise decisions based on data.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey information across all levels of the organization.
  • Strong leadership skills, with a proven ability to motivate and guide teams towards achieving a common goal.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills with a knack for identifying potential issues and implementing effective solutions.
  • Bachelors degree in Accounting Information Systems, Business Management, Computer Science, Business, or a relevant field. A Masters degree or additional certifications would be a plus.
  • A passion for continuous learning and staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and advancements.
