Senior Analyst / Lead Analyst - Life Sciences - Market Research

We are looking for intellectually curious and detail-oriented professionals from top institutions to join as Senior Analyst (3-4 years of experience) or Lead Analyst (5-7 years of experience).

1. This is a research-intensive role suitable for candidates with an analytical, research, or consulting background with keen interest in conducting deep-dive research
2. The role requires understanding complex, evolving technology sectors and generating usable insights and definitions on sector and business use-cases

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct secondary research on startups and markets in the Life Sciences sector for Venture Capital firms, Investment Banks, Corp Devs, and other stakeholders and generate insights that support investment decisions.
• Define structured frameworks and sector definitions for complex business scenarios.
• Identify, evaluate, and classify high-potential startups and emerging trends globally.
• Produce high-quality sector landscapes, research notes, competitive benchmarks and strategic insights.
• Contribute to scoring models, benchmarking and frameworks, enabling scalable sector intelligence
• 
  Develop a thorough understanding of the Tracxn platform and its features

What Were Looking For:

• 3-7 years of experience in research, consulting, analytics, or strategy.
• Deep functional or sector expertise and interest in startups and emerging technologies.
• Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to think structurally, define frameworks, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong ability to analyze and synthesize insights across the life sciences ecosystem like Biopharma, Medical Devices, Diagnostics, Digital Health, Clinical Research, CRO/CDMO ecosystem, or Healthcare Infrastructure.
• Prior experience in healthcare or life sciences ecosystems such as Life Sciences R&D, Genomics, Medtech, Healthcare IT
• Prior experience or strong interest in research roles involving life sciences, tracking market trends, vendor landscapes, and competitive dynamics.
