About The Job
Jr. Research and Development Engineer is responsible for assisting R&D team in completing CAD and engineering tasks. Participating in discussions for concept development, developing new products.
The duties and responsibilities are not limited to those listed below and are subject to change as per needs of the business.

• Generating 3D CAD models of products.
• Generating 2D CAD general arrangement drawings and detail manufacturing drawings.
• Ensure models and drawings created/issued for any product are feasible for manufacturing, assembly, and installation.
• Should follow effective modeling and drawing practice.
• Follow defined company processes and standards.
• Assisting in concept development of new and existing products.

• Perform engineering calculations to prove product design.
• Prepare calculations, specifications, and other technical documentation.
• Generating various manuals including but not limited to product assembly, product maintenance, product installation etc.
• General project engineering and drafting support.
• Communicate and collaborate efficiently with other team members.
• Maintaining project tracking and other required reports.

Educational Qualification & Work Experience

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Production or Industrial Engineering.
• Minimum of 3 years of work experience in engineering design
• Hands-on experience in Solidworks.
• FEA experience is an added advantage.
• Exposure to working methodology as per ISO 9001 will be an added advantage.
