Requirements
Job/Project Description
- Work directly with business users
- Review requirements to deliver optimized BI solutions
- Design ER diagrams
- Writing and debugging SQL queries
- Design and create data warehouse, data mart and semantic layer data models, usually using star schema.
- Design and create Dashboards and Reports for business users.
- Advanced English.
- 5-6+ years of data modeling experience.
- Advanced PowerBI is a must and Tableau is desired
- Advanced DataBricks experience at least 3 projects
- Snowflakes knowledge is desired.
- Structured Query Language (SQL) is a must
- Relational database management system concepts
- Information systems/network architecture
- Desirable:
- Micro services architecture.
- Programming language: one programming language preferable Java or Python, but okay with (C, C++, Java, Python, C# or MS .NET).
- Scripting Language: at least one medium level of scripting on (shell/bash script, Python or other).
- Installation and configuration of basic software ideally with Operational System setup and Database setup.
- Familiar with concepts of Virtualization and/or Containerization.
