The ideal candidate will support the full scope of Human Resources responsibilities and partner with the organization on strategic initiatives. They will maintain and enhance the organizations human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating human resources policies, programs, and practices.

Responsibilities

Role Summary

The HR Manager will be responsible for building and managing core HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, compliance, and employee engagement. This is a strategic and hands-on role that requires someone who can operate independently and build scalable processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end recruitment for tech, product, and business roles including salary negotiations.
• Work closely with Recruiting team to close positions.
• Manage the onboarding programs that reflect our values and culture.
• Providing infrastructure support to employees like email and laptops.
• Develop and manage performance review frameworks aligned with startup agility.

• Maintain HR systems including HRIS, payroll, and leave tracking.
• Ensure compliance with Labor laws and HR Best Practices.
• Drive employee engagement initiatives and promote a collaborative work environment.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to founders and team leads on people-related matters.

Qualifications

Education

• MBA/PGDM in Human Resources or equivalent

Experience

• 810 years in HR, with exposure to start-up or tech environments
• Tools & Platforms
• Familiarity with ATS

Skills

• Strong communication, adaptability, stakeholder management, empathy

Domain Knowledge

• Understanding of tech roles
