As an Industrial IoT (IIoT) Proposal Engineer, your role will be pivotal in designing and developing tailored IIoT solutions for industrial clients. You will collaborate closely with sales, engineering, and project management teams to understand client needs, propose innovative solutions, and drive the successful implementation of IIoT projects. This position requires a blend of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and strong communication skills to deliver compelling proposals that address clients challenges and objectives

Collaborate with sales, engineering, and project management teams to understand client requirements.

Develop detailed proposals including technical specifications, implementation plans, and cost estimates.

Stay updated with the latest IIoT technologies and industry trends.

Serve as a subject matter expert on IIoT technologies and best practices.

Present proposals to clients and address technical questions.

Prepare comprehensive technical documentation to support proposal submissions.

Bachelors degree in Electronics / Instrumentation engineering or computer science required.

Proficiency in Industrial Automation, Industrial Communication, IIoT technologies, cloud services, and programming languages.

Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.

Certification in relevant IIoT technologies or project management a plus.

KRAs - Day to day tasks:

Review emails, messages, and inquiries from clients regarding potential IIoT projects.

Respond promptly to client queries, provide clarifications and gathering additional information as needed.

Work on developing new proposals for IIoT projects based on client requirements and specifications.

Collaborate with sales, engineering, and project management teams to gather necessary inputs for proposal development.

Draft technical architectures, solution designs, and implementation plans for inclusion in proposals.

Stay updated with the latest advancements in IIoT technologies, platforms, and industry trends.

Conduct research on specific technologies or solutions that may be relevant to ongoing or upcoming projects.

Update and maintain documentation related to ongoing proposal development processes.

Prepare and organize technical documentation, diagrams, and presentations for inclusion in proposals.

Attend meetings with sales teams to discuss client requirements and project scope.

Collaborate with engineering teams to review proposed solutions and ensure technical feasibility and alignment with client needs.
