Job Description
- As a Travel Consultant at Morning Star Travel Private Limited, your main responsibility will be to generate insights into travel bookings by gathering travel requirements from clients, obtaining rates from suppliers, calculating costs, and finalizing deals. You will be required to arrange customized/group packages for individuals and groups, while ensuring timely responses to all client queries within the specified time frame. It will be your duty to coordinate and negotiate with hotels, tour vendors, and other relevant suppliers to secure better rates and availability.
Your role will also involve effectively converting customer inquiries into confirmed bookings by promoting travel products and services. Maintaining strong and long-term relationships with clients, handling all client requests efficiently, working under pressure to achieve targets, and delivering exceptional performance and productivity will be essential aspects of your job. Additionally, you will be responsible for providing sales reports to the team lead and overseeing the development and achievement of team targets.
To excel in this role, you must possess client handling skills, excellent communication skills, and a good understanding of destinations both within and outside India. Prior experience in managing group inclusive tours and free independent travelers will be an added advantage.
