Job Description
- We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Cybersecurity Analyst to join our team in Gurgaon. You should possess strong technical and analytical skills, as well as hands-on experience with tools like Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, and Python for monitoring, detecting, analyzing, and responding to cyber threats. Your role will be crucial in safeguarding our organization's digital assets and ensuring the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of our information systems.
As a Cybersecurity Analyst, your responsibilities will include monitoring network traffic, system logs, and security alerts to identify and respond to security incidents in real-time. You will be conducting threat analysis, vulnerability assessments, and risk evaluations using SQL queries and Python scripting. Additionally, you will utilize Power BI and Tableau to visualize and report cybersecurity metrics and trends for stakeholders.
Analyzing data from various sources such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint security to detect anomalies and potential threats, developing and maintaining cybersecurity dashboards and reporting tools, and assisting in creating and enforcing security policies, procedures, and protocols will also be part of your duties. Furthermore, investigating and responding to security breaches, malware infections, phishing attempts, and other cyber incidents, collaborating with IT teams to ensure secure architecture and coding practices, and supporting compliance and audit efforts related to information security frameworks are essential aspects of the role.
The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts, practices, and frameworks, proficiency in Excel for data manipulation and reporting, expertise in SQL for querying security logs and database analysis, experience with Power BI and Tableau for data visualization and reporting, working knowledge of Python for scripting and automating security processes, familiarity with SIEM tools, firewalls, antivirus solutions, and other security technologies, and excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred qualifications for this position include a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, certifications such as CEH, CompTIA Security+, or CISSP (preferred but not mandatory), and experience working in mid to large-scale enterprise environments.
Continuous research and staying up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity threats, tools, and trends are key components of this role.,
