Role Overview:

We are seeking a talented Finance Intern to join our growing team and contribute to the financial success of the organisation. The candidate should be ambitious, result oriented with great attention to details.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently handle the payment collection process, ensuring timely payments from clients.
• Conduct regular follow-ups with customers to resolve outstanding issues and ensure a healthy cash flow.
  
• Coordinating with internal teams (Sales, Customer Success) for invoicing and payment related queries.
• Be the point of contact for organisational relation with the financial institutions, namely Banks.
• Coordinate with our CA firm partner for ensuring compliance timelines are achieved, including return filings, payments, etc.
• Managing GST, TDS payments and other monthly compliance.
• Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable & receivable, invoicing, expense tracking, and ledger maintenance.
• Assist in preparing financial reports and statements as required by the management.

Requirements:

• Freshers/ Internship experience in Finance preferably in a startup or tech environment.
• MBA Finance/ Inter CA/ M.Com or exceptional Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, business administration.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Should be a natural negotiator, with an in-built talent for the hustle and always trying to take an extra penny from the table.
• Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles and financial processes.
• Proficiency in using financial tools and software (Quickbooks, BI tools, etc.)
• Should have sound knowledge of excel, google sheets and docs.
• Detail-oriented with a high level of organisational skills.

Good to have:

• MBA - Finance would be preferred.
• Experience working with an early-stage SaaS start-up is a huge advantage.
• Advanced knowledge of accounting best practices, laws, standards, and state/national/international regulations
