We are hiring for a Senior Manager Direct Sourcing (Strategic Sourcing) for a leading global organization in advanced materials and environmental systems. The position is based at the companys Corporate Sourcing Office in Bangalore.
Role Overview:
The incumbent will lead strategic and direct sourcing for raw materials, devices, and packaging across business verticals ensuring cost optimization, supply continuity, and sustainability. The role involves supplier identification, qualification, negotiation, contracting, and performance monitoring, aligned with global procurement standards.
You will collaborate closely with manufacturing, R&D, and quality teams to drive cost-reduction, localization, and vendor development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead direct sourcing initiatives and supplier development programs.
- Negotiate long-term contracts ensuring cost, quality, and supply security.
- Benchmark market data and drive VA/VE and cost-optimization projects.
- Manage supplier relationships, audits, and compliance for direct materials.
- Anticipate market risks and develop business continuity strategies.
- Drive performance metrics: supplier quality, delivery reliability, and savings.
- Prepare and maintain detailed procurement and financial reports.
- Mentor and develop the sourcing team for excellence in delivery.

Candidate Profile:
- Education: MBA / PGDM (SCM / Operations) or B.E. / B.Tech with SCM specialization.
- Experience: 6-10 years in direct or strategic sourcing (raw materials, polymers, resins, chemicals, packaging, etc.)
- Proven expertise in vendor management, negotiation, and contract administration.
- Strong analytical, commercial, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Experience in manufacturing or allied industries preferred.
