Finance Analyst

Joining the TUI Global Business Services as Finance Analyst you will assist with all aspects of Financial Reporting, Financial Control, Commercial Finance and Financial Analysis. You will work closely with colleagues across the business to ensure that reporting deliverables are completed accurately and on time supporting the business in commercial and strategic decision-making by providing insightful analyses.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Preparation of regular reports and commentary of target/actual deviation analyses




• Analysis and optimisation of KPIs, cost structures and performance tracking




• Provision of trading information for Management Reportings




• Updating of operational margin data and highlighting material variances




• Continuous development and maintenance of extensive reports in Excel




• 
  Co-ordination of financial reporting cycles, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and clarity




• Assistance in strategic planning, budgeting and forecasting cycles.




• Production of cash flow forecasts to help ensure the business is adequately financed in short, mid, and long term.




• Support with the preparation of business cases, presentations, and other ad hoc requests.




• Analysis of potential returns of business opportunities, working with the local businesses to produce

accurate and clear financial assessment to justify whether opportunities should be pursued or not.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• University degree in a commercial subject, preferably with focus on finance and accounting




• Good analytical skills with the ability to get into the details, while also understanding the big picture

  Good presentation skills in translating results into professional presentations




• Advanced English oral and written communication skills. Other languages like German, French, Arabic or Turkish desired, but not essential




• Adept at using Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and PPT) and strong interest in other financial systems (particularly HFM)




• Strong ownership for deliverables with ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines




• High motivation to work in an internal finance team in a fast-paced environment




• Open-minded and proactive personality who wants to learn and make change happen
