Role Overview

As a Software Developer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining robust backend and frontend applications, improving system performance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ship new features that enhance the learning experience for thousands of users.
You'll work directly on our Laravel backend, Next.js 14 apps, and Node.jsbased WhatsApp service.
Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize features across our Laravel and Next.js applications.
• Build efficient APIs, integrations, and automation workflows.
• Work on the Node.js microservice integrations.
• Participate in architectural discussions and propose scalable solutions.
• Collaborate with product, design, and management teams to refine requirements.
• Write clean, well-documented, and testable code.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues across the platform.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure engineering best practices.
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Senior experience in Laravel (PHP) and building REST APIs.

  Get Hired
  Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frontend development.
• Senior experience with Next.js ( Next.js 14 App Router).
• Senior experience with Node.js (experience with WhatsApp APIs is a bonus).
• Senior understanding of relational databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL).
• Senior experience of version control (Git) and CI/CD workflows.
• Strong experience with AWS and DevOps tasks.
• Ability to write maintainable and scalable code.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
  

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with microservices and message queues.
• Knowledge of Tailwind CSS, React Server Components (RSC), and API caching.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS).
• Experience integrating third-party services (payment gateways, messaging APIs, etc.).
• Background in EdTech or building SaaS products.
