  Bachelor or Post graduate from Mechanical / Mechatronics/Production/ Automobile

• Position Description: As a Motorcycle Chassis Component Designer, you will be an integral part of our engineering team, focusing on the conceptualization and development of motorcycle chassis and structural components. Your expertise will ensure that our motorcycles not only meet performance and safety standards but also embody cutting-edge design and aesthetics. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will drive innovation and contribute to delivering exceptional riding experiences to our customers.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Understands and calculates all the loads on the parts
• Develop 3D CAD models and detailed 2D drawings for motorcycle structural components, in the systems like frames, subframes, and swingarms.
• Apply principles of Design for Manufacturing (DFM), Design for Assembly (DFA), Design for Serviceability (DFS) and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) to all projects.
• Choose appropriate materials based on factors such as strength, weight, cost, and durability
• Basic understanding of the functions of chassis systems, such as suspension and brakes, with a deeper knowledge of calipers, discs, master cylinders, and combi-brake systems.
• Perform structural analyses and simulations to validate design performance under various conditions
• Work closely with teams across engineering disciplines, including powertrain, electrical, prototyping, costing, assembly and manufacturing, to ensure seamless integration of components.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of design processes, decisions, and specifications.
• Proficiency in CAD software (Preferably in Creo however further training will be provided).
• Strong understanding of simulation tools for structural and thermal.
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes such as Assembly, Welding, Casting, Forging, and Machining.
