Financial Risk Associate - Fraud Prevention

What role you will play in team: You will be part of a team dedicated to mitigating financial risks associated with fraud within Uber's payment systems.

What you will do: You will analyze transactional data to identify and prevent fraudulent activities, developing and implementing countermeasures.

Key responsibility:

• Analyze large datasets of financial transactions to detect anomalies and fraudulent patterns.
• Develop and implement fraud detection models and rules.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to improve fraud prevention systems.
• Investigate suspected fraudulent activity and prepare detailed reports.
  
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to fraud prevention.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest fraud trends and technologies.

Required Qualification and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, data science, or a related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in fraud prevention or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, or other data analysis tools.
