• Act as a first point of contact for any Listed Options Brokerage Payables or Receivables BAU/Issues
• Make sure our Listed Options Brokerage processes are robust and efficient, fully utilizing Industry relations and UBS tools. ADP tool knowledge is an added advantage
• Working with offshore manager to enhance delivery, notably in meeting agreed performance targets
• Driving improved communication between UBS and offshore teams
• Be an SME in Clearing Member trading agreements Brokerage Receivables and payables within UBS Group Operations
• A great team player - Partnering with other team members to increase their understanding of the product area
• Participating into various ongoing strategic projects in gathering business requirements, conducting UAT testing and raising issue logs with concerned automation teams
• Participating in calls with various counterparties to resolve issues with brokerage payables & receivables outstanding

• Ensuring CMTA commission breaks are timely reconciled, identified and resolved with Middle office teams or clients wherever necessary
• Preparing timely MIS of CMTA process and share with supervisor as and when requested
• Ensuring process SOPs and other critical process documents are timely prepared and updated
  

Your team
Youll be working in Hyderabad for UBS Network Management in Group Operations that manages the UBS Group post trade service providers. This role is for an experienced Operations professional at Executive Employee (EE) Level based in Hyderabad.
Your expertise
Experience of Banking Operations especially in Brokerage settlement for execution and clearing business
– Good understanding of operational risk, particularly in relation to brokerage accruals and controls
– Good understanding of securities life cycle and how/where commissions are incurred
– Flexibility – there is a significant element of reacting to circumstances and defining & delivering to requirements based on changing priorities. This includes getting cross trained and supporting other processes within NMI as directed by supervisor
– Client Service skills, being able to build and maintain relationships with key external and internal clients
– Excellent organizational and rigorous follow-up skills
– Ability to learn quickly, work independently & follow-up rigorously for deliverables
– Good communication skills, flagging issues and explaining pain areas to manager for timely resolution
– Think out of the box, bringing creativity and innovation to leave things better than they were before
– Experience of Brokerage invoicing process with knowledge of industry tools such as eRecs, GMI, TLM is advantageous
– Experience of working into back-office operations environment
– Knowledge of end-to-end of brokerage process is preferrable
– Graduate or post graduate in related field of Commerce, Accounts, Banking and Finance with relevant experience will be preferred
– A great communicator, you know how to speak with people at all levels
– An expert at building networks and connections both internally and externally.

– Proficient in presentation and analysis techniques and tools (MS Office, Access, Excel, PowerPoint etc)
