This candidate will be responsible for prospecting, qualifying, and generating new sales opportunities. In order to be successful in this role and meet or exceed quota, this candidate should feel comfortable communicating with prospects via phone and email who are discovered through a variety of avenues.

Responsibilities

  • Research, target and open new client opportunities
  • Develop targeted messaging to engage prospect companies and executives
  • Qualify prospects by understanding customer needs and budgets
  • Update CRM system with all customer communications

Competencies and Skills Required

  • Must possess good communication, planning and organisational skills.
  • Strong understanding of domain knowledge of learning and development

  • Strong secondary/internet research skills, and ability to understand customers need better.
  • Knowledge of lead generation, nurturing and converting a potential lead to appointments.
  • Must have sound knowledge of different marketing tools for lead generation like hubspot, mailchimps, etc.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent
  • 1-2 years previous sales experience
  • Experience with CRM systems
