Job Description
ROLEPURPOSE & OBJECTIVE
- Drafting,Vetting, Negotiation and Execution of Contracts.
- Drafting,Vetting, Negotiation and Execution of NDAs.
- Drafting,Vetting, Negotiation and Execution of MoUs/LOI/Purchase Orders.
- Proactivelyengage in reduction of TAT for Corporate Legal Team.
- Proactivelyengage in preparation of new/revised templates.
- KEYDUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE
Business
- Negotiationof contracts, MOUs, NDAs and other legal documentation with theexternal counterparties from legal and internal processperspective for its closure and help the business teams inexecution of the same.
- Ensuredelivery of legal advice relating to the business operations andalso in framing/ review of policies and process.
- Maintainingtrack of pending assignments with Corporate Legal Team andpresenting data, details etc. related to same to Chief LegalOfficer as and when required.
Customer
- AdvisingBusiness teams on contract related matters including stamping,execution and negotiations.
- AssistingCorporate Legal Team in standardization of templates.
- AdvisingRegional Legal Teams on contract negotiation, drafting or relatedsupport as and when required.
Internalprocess
- Adhereto timelines in reviewing and vetting all official communications& documentations such as contracts, agreements andsettlements.
- Monitoringthe executed agreements to ensure guidelines are being followed,stamping is proper, signatures of authorized signatory is thereetc.
Learning& Performance
- Keepinga track on the latest laws and judgements including thoserelated to contracts, stamping, banking and finance andproactively advise the Legal team & management about suchamendments, new laws and judgements and their implication onbusiness and to suggest changes in process/procedure in linewith the amendments through circulars/guidelines.
- Maintaina database on Applicable laws comprising FAQs, dos & don??tsas a ready reference.
- MINIMUMREQUIREMENTS OF KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
Educational
Qualifications
- Shouldbe a graduate in Law (5 Year/3 Year) as a regular scholar(Full-Time) from a recognized University.
Experience(Years and Core Experience Type)
- Minimum4-7 Years.
- Preferencewill be given to candidates having in-house experience incontract drafting and negotiation.
- Preferencewill be given to candidates having experience in BFSI/Fintechsector.
