Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Finance Manager to oversee the

organisations financial operations, reporting, compliance and financial planning. The role will

be responsible for ensuring strong financial controls, accurate reporting, timely statutory

compliance, effective cash-flow management and coordination with internal teams, vendors,

clients, auditors and external consultants.

Key Responsibilities-

Financial Management & Reporting

● Oversee day-to-day accounting and financial operations.

● Review and ensure accuracy of books of accounts, ledgers and reconciliations.

● Prepare monthly MIS, management reports and financial statements.

● Monitor revenue, expenses, profitability and cash flow.

● Provide management with financial insights to support business decisions.

● Track budgets, forecasts and actual financial performance.

Taxation & Compliance-

● Oversee GST, TDS and other applicable statutory compliances.

● Review GST workings and filings.

● Coordinate with tax consultants and auditors.

● Ensure timely statutory payments and filings.

● Support advance tax calculations and income-tax-related requirements.

● Ensure compliance with applicable accounting, taxation and regulatory requirements.

Accounts Receivable & Payable-

● Monitor client invoicing and collections.

● Track outstanding receivables and follow up on overdue payments.

● Oversee vendor payments and payable schedules.

● Ensure proper expense accounting and documentation.

● Monitor working capital and cash-flow requirements.

Audit & Controls-

● Coordinate statutory, tax and internal audits.

● Prepare and review audit schedules and supporting documentation.

● Strengthen financial controls and accounting processes.

● Identify discrepancies, financial risks and process gaps and recommend corrective

actions.

Team & Process Management-

● Manage and guide the finance/accounts team.

● Review accounting work and ensure timely completion of deliverables.

● Establish efficient finance processes and internal controls.

● Coordinate with HR, Operations, Client Servicing and Business Development teams

on finance-related matters.

● Drive process improvements and automation wherever possible.

Skills & Experience Required-

● Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting and financial analysis.

● Strong understanding of GST, TDS, taxation and statutory compliance.

● Hands-on experience with Tally Prime, Zoho Books and MS Excel.

● Experience in MIS reporting, budgeting, forecasting and cash-flow management.

● Strong understanding of accounts receivable and accounts payable.

● Experience handling audits and external consultants.

● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

● High level of accuracy, organisation and attention to detail.

● Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.

● Ability to independently manage finance operations and work closely with senior

management.

● Prior experience managing or mentoring an accounts/finance team would be

preferred.
