ADVOCATE LITIGATION (1-3 Years PQE)

Unimarks Legal Solutions is a growing practice handling commercial litigation, consumer protection, debt recovery, and IP enforcement matters across Tamil Nadu. We are looking for a motivated Advocate to join our litigation team.

Role Overview

You will handle court appearances, draft pleadings and legal documents, conduct legal research, and coordinate with senior counselworking across Trial Courts, Consumer Commissions, RERA, DRT, and the High Court.

Key Responsibilities

• Appear and argue matters in Trial Courts, Consumer Forums, and Tribunals based on case strategy provided by seniors
• Draft plaints, written statements, applications, petitions, and legal notices
  
• Research case law, statutes, and procedural requirements for ongoing matters
• Review and draft commercial agreements, partnership deeds, and contracts
• Coordinate with external counsel engaged by the firm across jurisdictions
• Maintain case records and ensure timely compliance with court deadlines

Who Should Apply

• Law graduate (BL/LLB) with 1-5 years of post-enrolment litigation experience
• Hands-on experience in Consumer matters, Civil suits, or Commercial disputes preferred
• Ability to independently handle cases with minimal supervision
• Strong drafting skills in English; Tamil proficiency is an advantage
• Clear courtroom communication and confident presence before judicial officers
• Self-motivated, organised, and capable of managing multiple matters simultaneously
