Business Development Specialist

We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Business Development Officer to support our retail expansion strategy through space acquisition and market development. The role involves identifying new retail locations, building strong industry relationships, and coordinating internal processes to successfully close deals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Business Development Manager in identifying, evaluating, and closing new retail space acquisition opportunities.
• Support retail expansion initiatives by sourcing suitable properties in line with brand and business requirements.
• Establish and maintain strong, long-term relationships with landlords, brokers, developers, and investors.

• Conduct property presentations, site inspections, and client/management meetings.
• Analyze locations, catchment areas, and commercial terms to support decision-making.
• Coordinate with internal departments (Legal, Finance, Leasing, Operations, and Fit-Out teams) to fulfill administrative and approval requirements.
• Maintain accurate records, reports, and pipelines of prospective locations and deals.
• Assist in negotiations and ensure timely execution of agreements

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, Marketing, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in retail real estate, leasing, space acquisition, or business development.
• Strong understanding of retail markets and commercial real estate dynamics.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
• Ability to conduct professional presentations and site tours.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to coordinate with multiple internal stakeholders.
• Proficient in MS Office; CRM experience is a plus.
