GL Accountant (Night Shift)

Main Job Tasks, Duties And Responsibilities

• GL Accounting, knowledge on the flow from journal entries to financial statement and its impact.
• Preparation of the balance sheet, income statement, and statement of cash flows.
• Month End Close Process - Accruals and Prepaids: Amortization schedules, future amortization forecasts, classification of a prepaid, monthly and annual roll forwards.
• Experience on Straight line and historical estimation calculations, consideration of accounts payable process to understand how unpaid billings and open purchase orders impact accruals.
• Income statement understanding for expense classification between cost of sales and OPEX.
• Reviewing financial documents for accuracy and reconciling accounts.
• Supporting the Auditor, Controller and other financial professionals in their duties as needed.

Languages
Fluent in English
Job Experience

• B.Com/M.Com with an experience of 3 to 5 years.
• knowledge of relevant accounting software (such as Net Suite, Concur, is an added advantage)

  Get Hired
  proficient in data entry and management
• Basic knowledge of US GAAP accounting
• Experience in Microsoft Excel: Pivot table knowledge (Filters and slices), shortcut formulas to disaggregate and manipulate data populations (XLOOKUP, SUMIF, LEN, etc.)
