Role Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Training Manager to lead and enhance the Learning & Development (L&D) initiatives for a leading restaurant business. The ideal candidate will design, implement, and manage training programs that drive employee performance, improve customer experience, and align with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Training Program Development:
- Design and deliver comprehensive training programs for front-of-house and back-of-house staff, including onboarding, product knowledge, service standards, and leadership development.
- Create tailored training modules for various departments, such as kitchen operations, guest relations, and beverage management.
- Performance Improvement:
- Conduct training needs analysis to identify skill gaps and performance improvement areas.
- Develop strategies to enhance customer satisfaction, service quality, and operational efficiency.
- Implementation and Delivery:
- Conduct in-person and virtual training sessions, workshops, and certifications.
- Partner with department heads to ensure training effectiveness and consistency across locations.
- Monitoring & Evaluation:
- Track and measure training outcomes through employee performance metrics and feedback.
- Regularly update and improve training content based on feedback and evolving industry standards.

- Coach and mentor employees to foster a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
- Support management teams in identifying high-potential employees and preparing them for leadership roles.
- Compliance & Standards:
- Ensure compliance with health and safety, food safety, and regulatory standards.
- Train employees on policies, procedures, and ethical practices.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience of 5-15 years in the hospitality sector, particularly in Learning & Development or Training roles.
- Strong understanding of the restaurant and F&B industry, including service standards, customer expectations, and operational processes.
- Excellent presentation, facilitation, and communication skills.
- Ability to design engaging training materials and deliver them effectively.
- Familiarity with e-learning platforms and training software is a plus.
- Bachelors degree in Hospitality Management, Human Resources, or a related field (preferred).
