Position : Sales Head - Government Business for Assessment / Computer Based Testing
Job Location: Ahmedabad

Job Summary:
The Sales Head - Government Business will spearhead the sales efforts for offline and online exam services in the government sector. This role involves identifying opportunities, building relationships with government entities, developing proposals, and achieving revenue targets. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of government procurement processes and the ability to navigate complex decision-making hierarchies.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities with government organizations for offline and online exam services.
Build and maintain a robust pipeline of prospects in the government sector.
Develop and deliver compelling proposals, presentations, and bids tailored to client requirements.
Relationship Management:
Establish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, procurement teams, and decision-makers.
Represent the organization at meetings, tenders, and industry events.
Act as a trusted advisor to clients, addressing their concerns and ensuring satisfaction.
Sales Strategy and Execution:
Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for the government business segment.
Achieve and exceed sales targets and revenue goals.
Monitor and Analyze market trends, competition, and client needs to refine sales strategies.
Tender and Proposal Management:
Lead the preparation and submission of tenders and RFPs, ensuring compliance with government procurement guidelines.
Collaborate with internal teams to develop pricing models and technical proposals.
Collaboration and Reporting:
Work closely with operations, project management, and technical teams to ensure seamless project execution post-sale.
Provide regular sales forecasts and performance reports to senior management.
Identify potential risks and propose mitigation strategies.
Candidate Requirement
Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (Masters preferred).
15+ years of experience in sales or business development, with a focus on government clients.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets in the government sector, preferably in education or examination services.
