Your Responsibilities
We are looking for a new colleague to join our Business Faculty in Dubai on a full-time basis, starting September 2025 who shares our vision of excellence in education and who is committed to making a difference in the lives of our students and staff.
The Opportunity

In this exciting role, youll deliver engaging and practical lectures while leveraging your industry expertise to create real-world connections in the classroom.
As a Professor at UE Dubai, you’ll play an instrumental role in delivering high-quality education and helping students develop the skills they need for success in their careers. Your contributions will have a lasting impact on the academic journey of your students and support the continued growth of both the university and its vibrant international community.
Key Activities & Responsibilities

• Conducting introductory and advanced courses in the areas of Controlling & Cost Management, Management Consulting, Finance and/or Digital Transformation. Candidates are not expected to be experts in all these areas, but should be able to give lectures on at least two of them
• Planning and implementation of research and development projects including publication activities in the field of business administration
• Advising and supervising students to help them achieve their goals
• Grading student work, supervising seminars, projects, bachelor, master and doctoral theses, ensuring a high standard of academic achievement
• Establishing partnerships with industry leaders and institutions to further grow the network of the University at the Dubai location
• Participate in university administration and committee work, actively supporting the success of UE
• Advising prospective students
  

Your profile

• Experience in teaching lectures in the areas of Corporate Management, Finance and Controlling. Experience in teaching advanced versions of these courses is an advantage
• Work experience in international and national companies
• Ability to teach courses in English language
• Ability to teach courses in German language is an advantage
• Publication and research activity desired
  
• Strong ability to communicate and work in a team
• Organizational skills and eagerness to work together to advance the success and growth of the University
  

Requirements for professorship:

• University studies completed with a master’s degree
• Proof of extraordinary qualification for scientific work in the form of an outstanding doctorate and/or outstanding scientific publications
• Qualified professional experience in the field of the professorship, at least three years, two of them outside of a university
